Frame Homes News – Autumn Update

Frame Homes UK > News > Frame Homes News – Autumn Update

What a busy few months it has been here at Frame HQ! The demand for quality timber frame is greater than ever and the whole team are working extremely hard to ensure it is delivered. The factory have been hard at work, with extended shifts and weekends to boost our output capacity. Likewise our site teams are ensuring that our timber frame kits are erected to the highest quality.

We are pleased to announce that during this period we have made a significant investment into an additional automated production line to compliment our existing set up (please take a look here at our factory on our virtual tour). This new line will be installed in the first quarter of 2019 and once commissioned and tested, it will allow us to increase our capacity for both our open and closed panel systems as well as increase our offering to the emerging modular market.

The self-build and trade show season is well underway and thank you for coming to see us recently – please note our next show is the Homebuilding and Renovating Show at the Bath and West Show Ground on the 17th and 18th of November.

The team enjoyed the 2018 MacMillan Coffee morning this year with a feast of cakes on offer and over £110 raised for the charity.

Recently we put one of the biggest sets of trusses through our press, that we have ever made. These were for a project in Exeter and construction on site with these is going well.

Next month we will be able to share some pictures of our new fleet of vehicles which are due for imminent delivery for our contract managers.

We hope the weather is kind to us as we head into winter to ensure we can maintain good progress on all of our sites.

Don’t forget to follow us on our other social media platforms, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. On our Instagram page you will see ‘Maenporth Beachbuild’ self-build project that we were a part of – check that out to see some fantastic pictures of how their timber frame was constructed.
