This large project on the outskirts of St Austell is for Frame Homes’ long standing client. It is a mix of 8 open market, 6 shared ownership, and 20 affordable rent homes.

With the continued emphasis on the housing shortage in the SW, a fast site programme is of upmost importance. Therefore, as on all our previous contracts with this client, our Thermo closed panel was provided, Party wall spandrel panels where pre-clad with plasterboard in our factory, and we also fitted the Fascia and Soffit.

For the client, it means the next trades in after us are the roofers and 1st fix M&E contractors. Our Posi joist floor system means the plumbing and electrics can be fitted quickly and easily.

We utilised one of our own fleet of ‘Merlo Roto’ 360 cranes. These cranes operate from a smaller crane base, often using hard cored car parking bays This commonly means better access across the site, where a larger crane can often block the site access.

The finished units have a nice mixture of external finishes to break up the street scene, and keep the development feeling light and open.
