A repeat client of many years has now completed both units on this project in Penryn. These two homes, on a continued development site, were built 2 years apart. The intention was that there would be minor design changes to the second unit. However, when it was sold from plan, the purchaser requested the design was amended to match the original.
We provided a Closed panel solution on both homes, along with Metal-Web Floor Joists and a Glulam feature truss to the front projection. With no restrictions on site access, we were able to make large panels for this project to speed up the erection process.
This client has always built to a high standard (always opting for joists and trusses at reduced centres, even when not structurally required) so much so that he has recently received a NHBC award for the construction of the second unit.
We think the Glulam feature truss and inset balcony to the front elevation make this a really nice looking home (and within a very reasonable budget) and so it features on one of our brochures!
